What lands in your inbox every morning

Not a headline roundup. The Executive Dashboard establishes current conditions. Today's Read asks what changed, where it landed, and so what. A consequence-first Global Scan tracks material developments across regions, with country and sector exposure, followed by the next observable event and numbered sources.

  • 1Primary sources, named. Institutional data stands on its own. Independent reporting needs two-source corroboration. State organs are marked as framing, never as fact.
  • 2Consequences before novelty. Continuing disruptions compete directly with new announcements, and omitted regions receive an internal evidence review.
  • 3Global evidence by design. Primary, regional, and local sources carry the analysis beyond familiar Western wires.

The public intelligence record

View the scored record →

Current conditions, deeper analysis, falsifiable judgments, and applied research are published as separate products inside one intelligence system.

The next rung · The Sovereo Brief
The SITREP shows what changed and where it landed. The Brief shows how to decide under the changed conditions.

Awareness is free and it always will be. The paid weekly Brief takes one consequential question, tests the strongest contrary case, compares scenarios, and identifies the evidence that would change the judgment. Every forecast is dated and scored in public.

The Reckoning
Most geopolitical and decision commentary is unfalsifiable. Ours is not. Every forward call enters a public ledger with a number and a scoring date, and is marked correct or wrong on that date.
Nothing is ever removed. The misses will sit beside the hits, on their dates. That discipline, not any single call, is the product. See the public track record →

Who Sovereo is for

This is for you if
You make consequential decisions about income, education, health, lifestyle, business, or legacy under changing global conditions.
You need to understand how policy, markets, technology, institutions, and essential systems such as energy, food, water, infrastructure, and communications reach your household or organization.
You want continuing consequences weighed as seriously as new events.
You may stay, move, or keep both options open, and want evidence to govern the choice.
You want contrary evidence, uncertainty, and practical constraints made visible.
This is not for you if
You want a stream of headlines without analysis of consequences.
You want certainty, prediction theater, or a predetermined political conclusion.
You want a relocation, investment, or passport sale disguised as independent research.
What readers say
“Sovereo Intelligence Research is one of the most useful and distinctive sources of intelligence analysis I have encountered. Its Daily SITREP does more than report geopolitical events. It explains how they reach energy prices, inflation, supply chains, business costs, household finances, health, security, and the decisions people must make. By consistently asking ‘So what?’, Sovereo turns global information into intelligence that is genuinely useful.”
José Méndez · Economics Professor · Ohio, USA
“I read Todd's SITREP every morning. Before coffee, before anything else hits my inbox. Four sections, sourced, no filler. What changed in the world and what it means. What to watch next. Todd doesn't hedge and he doesn't ramble to fill space. Four minutes in and I know something real. Primary sources, every time. Not somebody's hot take on a headline they skimmed. Todd builds intelligence, not commentary.”
Kirk Shelton · Founder, Blueprint AI
“No one wants to leave a decision this important to chance in their later years, especially when, once those years are reached, there is no turning back. Being able to preload my situation and get a location that actually suits me is exactly what is needed.”
Dr. JHK · weighing a retirement move on a fixed income
Global change is already personal
Macro forces become real through the systems that determine everyday choices.
Income and enterprise
Rates, currencies, energy, regulation, technology, and trade change purchasing power, employment, margins, and access to capital.
Economic exposure
Education and capability
Demographics, automation, public capacity, and institutional rules change which skills retain value and where opportunity remains accessible.
Human capability
Health and security
Food, water, energy, infrastructure, conflict, and state capacity determine whether essential systems remain available and reliable.
Essential systems
Lifestyle and legacy
Law, taxation, social conditions, mobility, and institutional durability shape where life is lived and what can be preserved.
Long-horizon decisions
Do not meet a consequential decision with headlines alone.

Start with the daily position report: what changed, what is already different, how it reaches you, and which decision may now require attention.

The world is connected
A vote in the Andes moves a commodity, a business margin, and household purchasing power. A chip rule in Taiwan moves your devices and your work. A closure in Hormuz moves your fuel and your savings.
You do not have to cross a border to be exposed. The borders crossed you. Sovereo draws that line every day, from the event to your exposure, with at least half of the evidence from primary, regional and local sources, not the Western wires.

One intelligence system, three depths

Start with current conditions, deepen the consequential question, then apply the research only where your decision requires it.

Applied intelligence

Use the research only when the decision requires it

These instruments are applications of Sovereo intelligence, not the subject that defines the company.

Why Sovereo is different

It brokers nothing

Many relocation and offshore firms earn fees when a residency, citizenship, property, or referral transaction closes. Sovereo receives none of those fees. Transaction completion therefore does not determine whether the research supports moving, waiting, choosing elsewhere, or staying home.

It runs on evidence

Every score traces to named public data and established research, from the Whitehall studies to the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health. Sources, method, uncertainty, and confidence remain visible to the reader.

It was lived, not theorized

Built by an economist who made the cross-border move himself and reads the ground from the inside, then turned that judgment into an instrument you can use for your own life.

lives in Colombia by choice, not by default

Todd Allyn is an economist who taught the subject for twenty-four years, then made the cross-border move himself. He lives in Colombia, which sits mid-pack on the objective Index yet ranks first once his own best-fit countries tool weights it for his life, family first, with portable income and the currency arbitrage the move makes possible. That is the premise Sovereo was built on: the right country is never the top of a worldwide ranking, it is the top of yours, and he built the instrument that proves it.

The Hormuz Trap. Ceasefire on paper, leverage in practice: Iran has not released the strait, it has monetized it.
Bolivia floats its currency. The peg breaks and a 40 percent devaluation lands overnight; every US-dollar asset there just repriced.
Peru and Colombia swing right. The two largest Andean economies now sit in the same column, and the foreign-capital rules are what move next.
