Who Sovereo is for

This is for you if
You are seriously weighing a move abroad, now or within a few years.
You live on a fixed or semi-fixed income and need it to go further and stay safe.
You are a remote earner, entrepreneur, or investor who wants capital working across borders.
You want a real Plan B for your family, decided on evidence, not a highlight reel.
This is not for you if
You want a cheap-holiday list or a quick "ten best places" listicle.
You are looking for a guru to sell you a dream or a passport package.
You are not willing to look at the honest downsides as well as the upsides.

See what you get

A sample result. The diagnostic returns your three best-fit countries, each scored for your exact situation, with the reasons and the one honest caveat. This example is a remote-earning couple in their forties, US dollar income, who want lower tax, safety, and an open culture.

Why it fits you
EU access with a clear residency route for remote earners.
Among the safest countries in the world, with strong healthcare.
A large, established English-speaking expat base to land into.
The one caveat
Watch this. The NHR tax break has closed, so the tax case is weaker than two years ago. Its successor is narrow and excludes most pensions.
Plus two more, scored the same way for this profile: Uruguay (Fit 81) and Panama (Fit 77).

What readers say
“No one wants to leave a decision this important to chance in their later years, especially when, once those years are reached, there is no turning back. Being able to preload my situation and get a location that actually suits me is exactly what is needed.”

The world is connected
A vote in the Andes moves a commodity and the stability of a country you might retire to. A chip rule in Taiwan moves your devices and your portfolio. A closure in Hormuz moves your fuel and your fund.
You do not have to cross a border to be exposed. The borders crossed you. Sovereo draws that line every day, from the event to your exposure, with at least half of the evidence from primary, regional and local sources, not the Western wires.

The thesis
Where you live is a social determinant of how long, how healthy, and how wealthy your life will be.
Grounded in the Whitehall studies and the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health.

Why Sovereo is different

It brokers nothing

The relocation and offshore names make their money moving you: the residency, the citizenship deal, the real estate, the referral. Sovereo sells none of it, which is what lets the advice tell you to wait, to choose elsewhere, or to stay home.

It runs on evidence

Every score traces to named public data and the established science, from the Whitehall studies to the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health. No proprietary guesswork, no dream sold from a distance, and the confidence level is shown rather than hidden.

It was lived, not theorized

Built by an economist who made the cross-border move himself and reads the ground from the inside, then turned that judgment into an instrument you can use for your own life.

The Capital and Enterprise lens

For your money, whether or not you move

One lens, two questions about your money. Will it hold its value where you are headed, against inflation, a sliding currency, and capital controls? And can it work where it will actually grow, then come back to you when you want it? Those questions reach the pensioner stretching an income and the executive deploying capital alike, whether or not either ever moves. Sovereo scores all 195 countries on the part the relocation and offshore guides skip: whether you can get money in, put it to work, and get it back out.

Income that holds its value

Planning your move, in the middle of it, or already settled, a fixed or semi-fixed income has to hold up against inflation, a sliding currency, and capital controls that can freeze or trap your money. The lens shows where your money keeps its purchasing power and stays free to move when you need it.

Resources that keep working

You do not have to relocate to put hard-earned capital where it grows. The lens reads each country for how open it is to your money coming in and, just as important, whether you can take it back out when you choose.

Foreign Investment
How open a country is to your capital coming in.
Capital Repatriation
The exit test: whether you can take it back out.
Business Environment
Property rights and the practical ease of operating.

A country can score well for living and badly for capital. Argentina rates highly for lifestyle yet near the bottom on repatriation: money goes in far more easily than it comes out. Singapore scores at the top on both. Most rankings will not tell you the difference. This one is built to.

Moved for real
lives in Colombia by choice, not by default

Todd Allyn is an economist who taught the subject for a living, then made the cross-border move himself. He founded Sovereo Intelligence Research on a simple conviction: the biggest decisions in life deserve evidence, not opinion. Not theory, and not a dream sold from a distance, but practical tools, grounded in real research, that help people choose well.

He lives in Colombia, and that is the point, not a contradiction. Colombia sits mid-pack on the objective Index, yet weighted for his own life, family first, with portable income and the currency arbitrage the move makes possible, his diagnostic puts it at the top. That is the premise the company was built on: the right country is never the top of a worldwide ranking, it is the top of yours. He built the instrument that proves it, then moved where it pointed.

Twenty-four years in a classroom taught him to make hard things clear without dumbing them down. Sovereo Intelligence Research exists to put that discipline to work, taking the established science on where and how people thrive and building it into tools anyone can use: the SITREP, the Index, and the diagnostic.
